§01 What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) by a website or application when you visit or use it. They are widely used to make websites and apps function properly, to improve performance, and to provide analytical and personalization capabilities.
Cookies can be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by services we use). They can be "session cookies," which expire when you close your browser or app, or "persistent cookies," which remain on your device for a defined period of time or until manually deleted.
In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and device fingerprinting. This policy covers all such technologies collectively referred to as "cookies" unless otherwise specified.
§02 How We Use Cookies

- Service operation: To enable core functionality that cannot work without cookies

- Preferences: To remember your settings, language preferences, and customizations
- Performance & analytics: To understand how our Services are used and improve them
- Advertising: To deliver relevant advertisements and measure their effectiveness where permitted

§05 Third-Party Cookies
We may allow third-party partners to place cookies on your device through our Services. These third parties may include analytics providers, advertising networks, social media platforms, and payment processors. We do not control these third-party cookies, and their collection and use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
Third-party providers we may use include but are not limited to:
- Google Analytics / Google Ads — analytics and advertising (Google Privacy Policy)
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising and retargeting (Meta Privacy Policy)
- Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
- Apple & Google SDKs — mobile analytics and attribution
- Cloudflare — security, performance, and analytics
We require our third-party partners to comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws. However, Rakett LLC is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their policies before interacting with them.
§06 Similar Technologies
Web Beacons & Pixel Tags
We and our partners may use web beacons (also called clear GIFs or tracking pixels) — tiny transparent images embedded in web pages or emails — to track whether a page or email has been viewed, and to measure the effectiveness of communications.
Local Storage & IndexedDB
We may use HTML5 local storage or IndexedDB to store data on your device. Unlike cookies, this data is not automatically transmitted to our servers but may be read by our code on subsequent visits.
Device Identifiers
On mobile applications, we may collect device identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID (AAID) or Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) where permitted and subject to our Advertising ID Policy. You can reset these identifiers or opt out of interest-based advertising via your device settings.
SDK Tracking
Mobile applications may include third-party SDKs that collect usage data for analytics or advertising purposes. These SDKs may independently set device identifiers or collect data subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
§07 Consent & GDPR Compliance
EU/EEA users: Non-essential cookies require your explicit opt-in consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a).
EU / EEA Users
If you access our Services from within the European Union or European Economic Area, we will present you with a cookie consent banner upon your first visit. You may accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your preferences by category. We will not set non-essential cookies without your explicit prior consent.
Your consent is recorded and stored. You may withdraw your consent at any time by adjusting your cookie preferences (see Section 8). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.
UK Users
For users in the United Kingdom, we comply with the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). The consent framework described above applies equally to UK users.
Canadian Users
For users in Canada, we obtain meaningful consent for the use of non-essential cookies in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws, including Quebec's Law 25.
§08 Your Cookie Choices & Controls
8.1 Cookie Consent Manager
When you visit our website, you may use the cookie preference center (accessible via the cookie banner or the "Cookie Settings" link in our footer) to accept, reject, or customize the categories of cookies we place.
8.2 Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, alert you when cookies are being set, or delete cookies already stored. Please note that restricting cookies may impact the functionality of our Services. Browser cookie controls vary by browser. Common instructions:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Site permissions → Cookies and site data
8.3 Mobile App Controls

- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
8.4 Industry Opt-Out Tools
You may opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies via:
- Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) Opt-Out

8.5 Google Analytics Opt-Out
To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
§09 Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal feature. Because there is currently no universally accepted standard for responding to DNT signals, our Services do not currently respond to DNT signals in a standardized way. We encourage you to use our Cookie Preference Center or the opt-out tools described in Section 8 to manage your tracking preferences.
We will revisit this position if an industry-wide DNT standard is established and adopted.
§10 Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly use cookies or tracking technologies to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at legal@rakettllc.com immediately and we will take prompt corrective action.
§11 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, or our business practices. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a prominent notice on our website or through in-app notification, and where required by law, we will seek your renewed consent.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
