§01 Overview
Rakett LLC may display third-party advertisements within its Services to support the provision of free or reduced-cost features. This Ads Policy governs how advertising is delivered, what data may be used for ad targeting, what content is permitted in ads, and how you can manage your ad preferences.
This policy applies to all advertising displayed within Raketmo websites, mobile apps, and other products, whether served by Rakett LLC directly or by third-party advertising networks. It should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, Advertising ID Policy, and Cookie Policy.
§02 Types of Advertising
Static or animated display ads shown within app interfaces or web pages.
Full-screen ads displayed at natural transition points within the app experience.
Optional video ads that users may choose to view in exchange for in-app benefits.
Ads designed to match the look and feel of surrounding content, clearly labeled as "Ad" or "Sponsored."
In-stream or out-stream video advertising shown within our Services.
Promotional messages delivered via push notification where you have granted permission and opted in.
All advertising is clearly distinguished from organic content. Native ads are always labeled to ensure you can identify them as advertisements.
§03 How We Use Your Data for Advertising
To deliver relevant advertising, Rakett LLC and our advertising partners may use the following categories of data:
- Device data: Device type, operating system, screen resolution, app version
- Advertising identifiers: IDFA (iOS), AAID (Android), or equivalent — see Advertising ID Policy
- Location data: Approximate location (city/region level) derived from IP address or, where you have granted permission, more precise location
- Usage data: App usage patterns, content interactions, session frequency and duration
- Inferred interest segments: Categories of interest derived from usage behavior
- Contextual signals: The type of content being viewed at the time an ad is served
We do not use sensitive personal data categories (e.g., health, religion, political beliefs, sexual orientation) for ad targeting. We do not use the content of private messages or communications for ad targeting.
§04 Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads
Personalized Advertising
Personalized (interest-based) ads are targeted based on your profile, interests, and behavior across our Services and, where permitted, across third-party platforms. Personalized ads require your consent where mandated by law (e.g., EU/EEA users under GDPR). You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time (see Section 9).
Non-Personalized Advertising
Non-personalized ads are contextual only — they are based on the content of the page or screen where they appear, and your approximate location (country/region), not on your individual profile or behavior. Non-personalized ads are served where you have not consented to personalized advertising, or where you have opted out.
Opting out of personalized ads does not reduce the number of ads you see — it means ads are less tailored to your interests.
§05 Third-Party Ad Networks
Rakett LLC may work with third-party advertising networks and technology platforms to serve ads within our Services. These partners may independently collect data about you when ads are displayed, subject to their own privacy policies. Partners may include:
- Google AdMob / Google Ad Manager
- Meta Audience Network
- Apple Search Ads
- Other certified advertising technology partners
We require all advertising partners to comply with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA where applicable. We contractually restrict partners from using data collected through our Services for purposes other than delivering ads.
Third-party ad network data practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review them. To opt out of third-party interest-based advertising, see Section 9.
§06 Prohibited Ad Content
Rakett LLC does not permit the following categories of advertising content within its Services:
Rakett LLC reserves the right to reject, remove, or block any ad that violates this policy or that we determine is inappropriate for our users, in our sole discretion.
§07 Children & Advertising
In Services or portions of Services directed at children under 13, or where we have actual knowledge that a user is under 13, we comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable international children's privacy laws:
- We do not serve behavioral or interest-based advertising to children under 13
- We do not collect persistent identifiers from children for advertising purposes
- Advertising served in child-directed contexts is limited to contextual advertising only
- All ads in child-directed contexts must be appropriate for children and comply with applicable children's advertising guidelines
- We prohibit advertising that encourages children to make purchases without parental consent
See our Target Audience Policy for more detail on how we identify and protect child users.
§08 GDPR & Consent for Advertising
For users in the EU, EEA, and UK, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive (PECR/ePrivacy). Specifically:
- Personalized advertising requires your prior, freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent
- We present a consent management interface (CMP) where you can accept or reject personalized advertising
- You may withdraw consent at any time through our Cookie Preference Center
- Where consent is not given or is withdrawn, we serve only non-personalized contextual ads
- We do not use dark patterns or deceptive design to manipulate consent choices
For Canadian users, we comply with PIPEDA and Québec's Law 25 regarding consent for advertising data use.
§09 Ad Choices & Opt-Out
Device-Level Opt-Out
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or opt out of ads personalization
Industry Opt-Out Tools
In-App Controls
Where available, our apps include ad preference settings accessible through the settings menu. You can also contact us at legal@rakettllc.com to request opt-out from personalized advertising.
§10 Ad Transparency
All advertisements within Raketmo Services are clearly identified. We use labels such as "Ad," "Sponsored," or "Advertisement" to distinguish paid content from organic content. We do not endorse the products or services advertised by third parties unless explicitly stated.
If you believe an advertisement you encountered is misleading, inappropriate, or violates this policy, please report it to complaints@rakettllc.com with a description and, if possible, a screenshot of the ad.
§11 Advertiser Responsibilities
Third parties that advertise through Raketmo's ad inventory are bound by our Advertiser Terms and must comply with all applicable laws including consumer protection, truth in advertising, and data privacy laws. Advertisers are solely responsible for their ad content and any claims made therein.
Rakett LLC is not liable for the content, accuracy, or legality of third-party advertisements. Rakett LLC reserves the right to suspend or permanently bar any advertiser that violates our policies.
